Revel Roadshow Rundown: New York City & D.C
Last week, Revel held the second annual Roadshow in New York City and a first ever Roadshow in Washington DC. Revel is continuing the tradition of Roadshows to provide an opportunity for our customers to get the most out of their point of sale platform. Customers gathered at Revel client The Attic rooftop lounge in Midtown NYC and at Revel client Slipstream coffee in the Navy Yard neighborhood in DC. Revel discussed current and upcoming product functionalities and lead workshops and breakout sessions.
Marketing Director, Jennifer Levanduski explains, “Getting out to meet with our customers in their backyards is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. The opportunity to connect, receive face to face feedback and suggestions, and help cultivate a sense of community with our users provides such benefit for both us and our clients. It’s so exciting to learn more about the various businesses running Revel and the creative ways our clients use the system.”
Product managers kick off the Roadshow with a deep dive into the highlights of functionality released in 2017 and a look at what is coming this year, including new Customer Facing Display (CDS) features. With the 2.34 release, Revel CDS users are now able to better market to their customers with split screen functionality that allows you to use half of the CDS screen for advertising and branding.
Customize your CDS with your brand colors, as well as with images and gifs. The CDS is just another avenue that allows you to connect with your customers and create a personal touch.
Ending 2017 on a high note, Revel released version 2.31 with UI improvements and a new POS Dashboard that gives users a snapshot of the day’s progress including Product Mix, Sales Summary, Hourly Sales, and Labor that you’ll see right when you login to the Management Console.
The second-half of the Roadshow is a time for Revel to connect with customers with breakout sessions by business type and with sessions to help businesses get the most out of Revel. During the sessions, Revel customers get to know other users in their industry and, often, similar geographic location.
We know that our customers learn a ton from each other and become “super users” in their own right. The Roadshow events are a great opportunity for networking with like-minded business operators.
A big concern for anyone in business is keeping their customers happy. Revel wants our users to keep their customers happy and to grow their bottom lines while doing so. We run through all of the ways that Revel empowers businesses to create an integrated, engaging experience through offering a full suite of products that all run on the Revel platform. Whether it be through boosting your business through a Loyalty and Rewards program, increasing your speed of service with a Kiosk, or giving your customers the opportunity to purchase from you using Online Ordering, Revel has you covered.
