The Money Event — Talking mPos

The Money Event — Talking mPos

The Money Event will take place in Las Vegas, September 9th through the 11th. According to their website, the event is meant to “Bring the money and mobile industry players together in ONE event. We’ll keep the name just as simple as the initial idea, we’ll call it, ‘The Money Event”.

The event seeks to explore the “entire mobile ecosystem” which includes trends in mobile payments, retail, technology, banking, financial services, big data, and other topics that impact the world of mobile commerce and data. The Money Event converges with Super Mobility Week, “the largest mobile event in the western hemisphere, and the longest running annual mobile event in the world”. The two are perfectly in tune – especially with the rise of mobile payments – and present the perfect opportunities for those interested in commerce and digital money to come together. Attendees include: “40,000+ mobile professionals and executives, 1,100+ exhibitors as well as 1,000+ media and analysts from more than 100 countries gather for this powerhouse event”.

Speakers, including Revel Systems CEO Lisa Falzone, will be attending from across the globe to explore the aforementioned topics. On September 9th, Lisa will be speaking on mPOS – exploring how it has evolved over the past several years and how it’s changed the merchant experience. Other speakers include Dan Mead, President and CEO of Verizon Wireless, Bill McDermott, co-CEO of SAP, Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappos and many other industry experts and leaders in the commerce and technology space.

We encourage you to join Lisa at The Money Event September 9th-11th – you’ll hear from industry-leading experts and converse with others who operate within the commerce and mobile payments space. If you can’t make it this year, feel free to follow us on Twitter for updates.
