About Rachel’s Kitchen

Named for founder Debbie Roxarzade’s daughter, Rachel’s Kitchen is a fresh-casual eatery that opened the doors of its first location, in the Las Vegas valley, in 2006. That lone restaurant has since blossomed into a thriving operation with eight distinct locations. “We stand for serving wholesome food made with delicious recipes,” says Chief Development Officer Kent Asaki.

The Revel Solution

In addition to providing its always-fresh, quality fare, Rachel’s Kitchen prioritizes highly personalized guest experiences. The restaurant’s Preferred Guest program has accumulated tens of thousands of members since it first launched. With such a high volume of loyal guests, the leadership team knew it had to upgrade from their legacy loyalty software—which did not communicate with their point of sale system whatsoever—to a state-of-the-art, omnichannel engagement tool. The restaurant chain now uses an integration between Como and Revel Systems point of sale to manage and grow their customer engagement program. “We analyzed a lot of different solutions to help support our Preferred Guest loyalty system platform,” says Asaki. “We chose Como and Revel because of the seamless integration between the two, and what we saw as two business partners truly working together on behalf of their customer.”

Why Revel

Through the Revel-integrated ComoSense solution, Rachel’s Kitchen transitioned more than 50,000 accounts from their previous software to a platform that could provide actionable insights from customer data and empower their franchisees to grow meaningful relationships with their customers. Not only was the account transfer secure and seamless, but the new solution also offered detailed customer insights and a suite of engagement tools. Cashiers can personalize service with features like proactive birthday rewards and tailored greetings, and franchise owners can create custom promotions for regulars based their location, historical order preferences and visit frequency. Pleased with the solution’s deployment thus far, the franchise group intends to scale customer engagement right alongside its business.
