Revel POS 101: From Reservation to Checkout

Is your business run by appointments? Did you know that the Revel iPad POS can let your customers make an appointment online without having to call someone at their own convenience? Additionally, the system will maintain all of your appointments, and let you bill the customer right from the app. It’s that simple!
Setting Up Online Reservations
First you are going to map out how you want your customers to be able to book their appointments, and customize the Web Appointment options in the Management Console to best fit your business. You can select multiple options to determine how your reservation link will look (customized button or embedded link), and empower your customers to select options such as the service desired, provider, etc. While in the Management Console, you can even test out the reservation feature to see exactly what your customers are going to see when you launch the service. Ringing Up an Appointment
Next we move on to ringing up an appointment. Once your appointment system is live and you are open for business and accepting your first appointments, you will need a way to bill your customers for the services you have provided them. Don’t worry, all the heavy lifting will be done by your Revel iPad POS! As we walk through the process, you will see how intuitive and easy the steps are. You can select the calendar icon on the Revel iPad POS, select the appointment you are trying to collect payment from on the current day, and go directly to their tab. On this page you can edit the customer’s order by adding details about the employee that helped them (for commission-based services), and just finish the transaction by processing payment.
