According to the latest Sensis Business Index (SBI) survey, business confidence amongst Australian SMBs is now at its highest level in more than five years.

Determined via the use of a net balance score which is the difference between the percentage of businesses with a positive outlook versus the percentage of businesses with a negative outlook, the Index’s findings suggest that confidence in the hospitality industry has increased markedly. The survey found that confidence in the sector is up by 17 points to +58 making it an equal leader with the finance & insurance and health & community service industries.
