A. William “Bill” Allen is an investor and strategic advisor as well as a well-respected visionary within the restaurant industry. Bill has more than 25 years of experience in building restaurant companies for leading brands, such as Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, and OSI Restaurant Partners (currently titled Bloomin’ Brands), among others. During his tenure at Bloomin’ Brands, Mr. Allen oversaw the $3.9 billion take-private of the company in 2007. Most recently, Bill has acted as an investor, advisor, and Board member to a wide portfolio of established and early-stage growth companies, including Barcelona Wine Bar, Bartaco, Bruxie, Dig Inn, Fleming’s, The Habit Burger Grill, Hopdoddy Burger Bar, Lemonade, Matchbox Pizza, Mendocino Farms, Paul Martin’s American Bistro, PDQ, P.F. Chang’s, Piada, Protein Bar, Tender Greens, Tocaya Organica, Uncle Julio’s, and Velvet Taco. Throughout his career, he has helped ensure successful, managed growth for restaurant brands with a focus on strategic thinking and leading from the front. His experience is grounded in operations, finance, development, and most importantly, people.
